MEETINGS-NEWS
JANUARY MEETING January 17th 2010, the BTW State Of Ohio Meeting was opened by Steve, State Director, at 2:00p.m. with 31 members and 3 children attending. Minutes of the Nov. meeting as well as the Christmas Party was read and accepted. The Treasurers report was read and approved with a Balance of $332.00-----Read and approved. Old business: The success of the Christmas Party NEW BUSINESS: The upcoming Trike In. Date July 2-4 at the Mohican Reservation. Steve will be checking with someone who would like to do a roast pig, as well as chicken. This will be for the Sat. night group dinner. Chapters are to decide what they are to do for the side dishes. Steve will also check on the price for a group canoe ride NE Chapter will be taking care of Friday nights meet/greet dinner, Sat. meet and greet lunch will be taken care of by NW Chapter. Breakfast at Raders was discussed and going for a ride afterwards. There has to be someone in charge of games, shows and runs. The Chapters will also make up the basket for the raffle. There was nominations were taken for a new State Road Captain...the vote will be at Feb. meeting. It was suggested that there also a "rear" assistant to the Road Captain on all runs.NW Chapter:They are trying a point system for members at meetings..to wear vest etc. At the end of the year whomever has the most points gets a paid membership, as well as a couple other prizes.NE Chapter..New members, Kevin Hailey and Tina Bulenakowski. NC Chapter..meetings as usual. Ruth been off due to knee surgery. Director Steve says he would like to get a Newsletter out by the end of January Ron Turner donated a nice stool with handle for Ohio to use as needed. Jessica won the 50/50 ----$55.00 Next meeting: Feb. 21st at the Hungry Bear, Litchfield.
