James/Alberta Beatty Newton Falls Hi Brothers and Sisters,
We thought we just drop a line to say Hi and to introduce ourselves. We are Jim "AJ" and Alberta.
We have a 2005 Rupp VW Trike, which my husband built and his friend "Butch" helped him. It took my husband 2 years, well 2 long winters to build.
At first when he bought this OLD rupp body that had sat for "God knows how long". I told him "yea, okay babe you expect me to get on and ride that!!!, Lordy be I thought to myself there was NO WAY. It was so ugly, you couldn't even imagine, but then when he started to build it I was thinking, W-e-l-l, maybe (Yea right) mind me it was still ugly! Pieces everywhere, body parts here and there, our garage was a total mess, not only could you not find anything in the garage I couldn't even fine my husband for 2 years (well 2 winters). He was like a little boy with a new toy, NEW - okay, OLD more like it.
But then the day came, after all those long hours and finding my husband this BEAUTIFUL TRIKE came alive and I mean BEAUTIFUL. I now became the kid too - and said, 'YEA BABY' - I'll ride that trike with you!
For it is so "BEAUTIFUL" and that is what we have done - ride, ride and ride!!
We get so many looks and compliments even from the Harley riders!! I'm so proud of my husband for he had done such a GREAT job making 'OUR' trike, from ugly to BEAUTIFUL. Hard to believe but that indeed he did----"As you can see, I said "OUR TRIKE".
We hope to meet all our family someday in the near future, Its great to be a member of the Brothers of the Third Wheel.

This is Bob's Trike..Bob is out of Middletown. "Bob(aka barneytriker)" barney " from bright purple !! thanks to my wife, gotta love her ..good nickname that stuck !!! Any way our trike started as a 1988 subaru xt6 and a 1984 honda cx500, hence the name ..HOND- ARU. It's a v6 2.7liter 4 sp. auto with overdrive and power disc brakes ! Kind a proud of it , and the third trike I've built totally from scratch. I got a little carried away with a few things (like am,fm,cd,4speakers ..full sized trunk reinstalled from car, hides all electics and fuel tank, head lights on hood still flip up and work). I
used most all gauges from car hid inside gas tank on bike part . You can't see all graphics on it a lot of art work done local here in Middletown" Per Barney triker

This is a 1972 Rupp that Jim bought in pieces and put together. It is all original and he's been riding it for about 10 years now. Barb says she has even taken it for a spin around the farm. Jim is putting another together and hopes to ride it this summer. 
This pretty ride belongs to Don and Willetta, out of West Central Ohio. A 1993 1500 GoldWing."A few years ago Don, my husband, took a Gold Wing, named "Herman" into our family and we spent many hours riding with a motorcycle group from our church. Later we even went to Colorado and have also ridden in Yellowstone and Glacier Nat'l Parks. As happens with some of us, health issues caused some concerns for safety on two wheels, and "Herman" was christened "Faith", given a new look of three wheels, and we continue to "ride in and on Faith"..Willetta
